Pair a remote control
- Press the radio button on the carriage repeatedly to pick the channel you want. The LED blinks once for channel 1, twice for channel 2, and so on up to four.
- Press the button on the remote you want to use and hold it until that channel’s LED goes out. The LED going dark is the confirmation — the remote has handed its code to the receiver.
- Repeat for any other remotes. The receiver holds up to 40 of them.
Erase every remote from memory (if lost or stolen)
- Press and hold the radio button for about 20 seconds. The LED starts flashing at 10 seconds, then the flash pattern changes at 15.
- Let go of the radio button. The receiver is now in deletion mode.
- Press any button on the remote you want removed. The LED goes out and that remote is deleted.
This wipes every paired remote and keypad from the opener’s memory. Re-pair only the ones you want to keep afterward.
Copy a remote over the air (HFL)
- On a remote that already works, press buttons 1 and 2 together for three to five seconds, until the light on the remote comes on.
- Press the matching button on the new remote while both are near the opener. The new one copies the button layout of the old one — no ladder needed.
